Tropical New Year's Eve 从 皮特尔角城(Pointe à Pitre) 到 法兰西堡(Fort-de-France)

A beautiful greek island cruise on CM2! We booked a suite which was spacious with 2 bathrooms and 2 cupboards, somehow newly renovated. I loved the extra space! Our cabin lady Rizza was just super adorable! In general service and food has been upgraded since last year that was a very nice surprise! The staff is led by Adrien the CDV who practices leadership at its Best and it shows! Lyora from the excursion desk, Tan and Manauly from the conciergerie, Laura from the Spa, adorable Anouk from the teens club, Stephane & Milan from the nautical hall and everybody from the service personnel, thank you very much for this nice stay! Lovely trip in the Caribbean with really good food, especially considering we were on a sailing boat! An amazing experience, and a massive thanks to Isabelle, Denise, and Lucas for their energy and kindness! Thanks also to the rest of the crew (everyone we met, to be honest) and to Stéphane, even though the nautical hall was not open :( We’ll definitely come back to the Mediterranean Sea to try it for sure!

We made a cruise with Club Med 2 beginning of July 2024 for a week visiting the Italian coast from Rome to Palermo (2 adults and 3 teenagers). We had never done a cruise before so a little afraid but it turned out to be a success.

The boot is not the youngest so do not expect glides, game rooms, … but it has the old grandeur with the sails, nice decks, …
The cabins are rather small so I would recommend to take a suite like we did as they have a small seating area and 2 bathrooms.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, be it in the restaurant, bars, nautical deck, …The food is very nice and quite refined although you also have teenager food.

I understand that in general the passengers on the boat are pensioners which was also the case for our cruise, much appreciated BTW as it means peace and tranquility and no (would be) influencers. You should count on about 200 passengers. The only downside is that when you do organized trips the pace is very slow given the number of pensioners.

The good thing about the boat compared to the huge cruise ships, is that it can attend both the big cities but also the small costal towns. As such we visited small islands which are otherwise impossible to visit. The boat then just lies off the coast and they bring you with small vessels to the coast all day long. But you can also stay on the boat and do all kind of watersports on the nautical deck.

Bottom line: if you like parties, kicks, modern ships, slides, several restaurants, … then avoid this ship. If you like more refined peace and tranquility then I can only recommend Club Med 2

Nous avons passé une semaine de croisière sur le Club Med 2 en famille pendant les vacances de la Toussaint, itinéraire Malaga à Las Palmas.
C'était une première pour nous, (habitués du Club Med mais en villages), et cette expérience à bord était exceptionnelle !

Elle allie le luxe et le service de l'exclusive collection avec l'élégance et le confort d'un bateau extrêmement bien aménagé.

Quel bonheur et quelle liberté de se réveiller chaque matin dans une ville ou un continent différent. En 1 semaine, nous avons pu visiter des villes en Espagne, faire du 4x4 et du dromadaire dans le désert, visiter les souks et autres médinas au Maroc et randonner dans les Canaries au milieu de paysages volcaniques complètement lunaires. Chaque départ du bateau est accompagné par la traditionnelle musique de Christophe Colomb qui rend ces moments encore plus magiques.

Et tout cela, avec les classiques du Club Med: des animations toute la journée, des suites luxueuses, une gastronomie raffinée, des apéros concert, des soirées festives, des GO au top et un chef de village exceptionnel: Luca Valmori. Merci à toi Luca, nous prenons toujours beaucoup de plaisir à te croiser sur les différents villages.
Une spéciale dédicace à Lou de la conciergerie qui a été à nos petits soins et nous a cocooné toute la semaine, à Lily Marie pour la pétanque :-), à Lola : notre référente, à Benjamin pour son dynamisme et à Mickaël pour l'animation.

Habitués des villages classiques, le club Med 2 nous avait été suggéré plusieurs fois par d'autres vacanciers comme un séjour particulier et inoubliable.
C'est le cas. Tout ne sera jamais parfait mais il s'agit vraiment d'un moment atypique qui laisse de toute évidence des souvenirs forts et d'un "village" qu'on quitte avec regrets. A tester sans aucun doute si vous ne l'avez jamais fait.
Pour une fois sans regrets d'avoir écouté les conseils d'autres G.O. Top.
