Cherating Beach Malaysia

We’ve just returned from an unforgettable family holiday at Club Med Cherating and we’re already talking about when we can go back. From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the welcome set the tone for the entire trip. The G.Os greeted us with such genuine smiles and energy a special thank you to Dee for arranging everything so smoothly. It instantly felt like a home away from home.

The restaurant experience was a highlight every single day. We were spoiled with an incredible variety of food, all beautifully prepared. Chef Rudy and his talented team deserve a huge round of applause their creativity and care came through in every meal, and our family looked forward to each dining experience.

The bar team also made a lasting impression. Whether it was a refreshing drink after the pool or a special cocktail before the evening show, they kept us hydrated and happy with such warmth. Thank you Poppy, Charo, Shen, Indra, Chloe and the whole crew for your smiles, kindness and memorable drinks. Salute you all really went above and beyond.

For our son, the Mini Club was pure magic. The G.Os there were not only professional and attentive but genuinely caring and fun. He still can’t stop talking about his first ever trapeze experience with the circus G.Os such a big moment for him! We’re deeply grateful to Roy, Rebekah, Miya and “Miss Lychee” for making him feel safe, included and excited every day. Knowing our child was in such good hands gave us peace of mind and let us enjoy our own activities.

The rooms may be on the smaller side, but they were clean, cosy and very comfortable for us as a family. We especially appreciated the housekeeping team, our room was always refreshed quickly and professionally.

It’s true that some of the facilities show their age and could use a refresh in the future, but honestly it didn’t take away from the experience. The activities, staff and atmosphere more than made up for it, and we still had so much fun exploring everything on offer.

And the evenings was wow. The night shows were full of energy, humour and acrobatics, and the whole setup of activities throughout the day and night was so well thought out. There was always something for everyone to enjoy, and the sense of fun and community never stopped.

It was a really good experience as this is my first time here. I really enjoyed staying here and the activities and atmosphere here is amazing, I never felt this much relaxed before. I’ll be happy to be back in the future! The sailing coach Nazmi is really friendly and warm welcoming. Definitely will come back again!
