Kiroro Grand Japan

This is our second visit to CMKG. We loved it this time as much as last time. The resort is beautiful, the rooms are very spacious and well appointed and the food is amazing! A real highlight for me was the yoga classes run by Lou. Lou is a fantastic yoga teacher and each class was different, challenging but also relaxing. Highly recommend.

We recently stayed at Club Med Kiroro Grand with our 5+ and 3+ year old for our first family ski trip, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience.

Before arriving, we were told there was a possibility our 3+ year old (just a few months shy of 4) might be able to join ski classes. Unfortunately, the policy had changed, and only children aged 4 and above were eligible. Younger kids were placed in the Petit Club, which is essentially a daycare with activities.

That said, both our kids thoroughly enjoyed the entire week. The instructors and teachers were genuinely caring and attentive, which really reassured us—especially since it was our first time leaving them fully in someone else’s care. Special shoutout to Teacher Jess from Petite Club—our little one grew so attached to her and would only want Jess to take care of her, which really speaks to how warm and dedicated she is.

For us adults, we joined the snowboarding classes starting from beginner level and progressed to SB2 over the week. We had three different instructors across the first two days, and it was only later that we learned we could request a preferred instructor.

From Day 2 onwards, we were taught by Mike (from Hungary), and the group unanimously agreed to stick with him for the rest of the week—and we’re so glad we did. Mike was exceptional. He was thorough, patient, and incredibly thoughtful in his teaching. More importantly, he was genuinely invested in helping each of us improve, ensuring we built strong fundamentals before progressing.

Having experienced instructors elsewhere, both my wife and I felt that Mike stood out as one of the best we’ve ever had. The entire group shared the same sentiment—he pushed us to improve while making the learning process enjoyable and really helped build our confidence on the slopes.

We’ll definitely be back, and we truly hope to continue learning under Mike as we progress beyond SB2.

My family and I had a great experience there. It was a warm atmophere.
The service was very good. They really took care of us with attention.
The rooms were very clean.
My wife and my kids enjoyed the buffet so did i.
Activities were all fun.
All the staff were very welcoming.
My three daughters enjoyed skiing as well.
We will try to come back again for sure.

One of the very best experiences we had at Kiroro grand. We enjoyed a lot. From the place, staff, services, FB quality, room comfort, mini club and all. We enjoyed every day show as well as the fire work. Special thanks to Aon, Ink, Bonus for great assistance. And to many more names unwritten here. U guys rock! Great management and great team!!! We will be back again soon!
